We found a new floor on Monday and got a friend with a larger car than ours to help collect it the next day, so now the floor is in the house and getting acclimatized, so at least that is one less thing to think about. I have also started to find a new solution for the stairs. I hope some of that work will be done over the easter break.
We are experiencing a spike in Covid cases here in Norway and they have so we now have stricter restrictions for a while hoping to slow the spread. So that means, for now, that we will try to restrict our shopping to our own municipality. Luckily, we can get most of what we need here, but our nearest IKEA is just across the boarder to the next municipality so that will have to wait till after easter. We try to avoid the busy times anyway so I think we will be fine.

Got the first shot of vaccine yesterday. By May 5th full effects of two shot regimen will contribute to the eventual defeat of the pandemic. Still keeping distance, washing hands and masking up.

I hope you can get enough of the Vaccines to turn it around…we are finally going in the right direction here in California because of much more aggressive action by our current President..although some states are stupidly rushing open before vaccinating everyone, leading to unnecessary spikes…still, the good news is that I will be able to get my first shot as of next week…I hope you can as well!
It will be quite some time before I will get a vaccine, I think. But I hope they will get the spike down with the strict measures

Today we just got word that all Californians will be able to sign up by April 15, which is terrific news – we we want the entire world to also get shots so we can ALL get past it!
We are still vaccinating the people over 65, mostly done with health care workers and at risk groups. So it will be a while before they get to my age group. But I will be ready when the doctor calls 🙂
Sorry to hear of further restrictions in your part of the world. The same is on the way here. Case are going up every day and variants are at about 25%. we get our fist jab on Monday next. Stay well. As to Ikea, can you not order for delivery? Allan

I’m glad your got your floors in to acclimate before the lockdown. It’s so crazy that a few can’t do what’s necessary and make it hard for everyone. It’s still not great but better here. I could get my shot and so could my daughter as she is my caregiver and lives with me full time. But we are waiting. We don’t go out for anything unnecessary so I’ll wait at the end of the line. Very carefully. I think Easter may be another occasion for covid fuel. Families want to get together. Love you little planter on the table. Cheery.
Things are trending up in Idaho. I managed to get my first vaccination, but need one more. People are getting weary of this, but the alternative is frightening. I like your flower arrangement.
Being one of the “Ancients”, I was fully vaccinated in February. Here things are going fairly well compared with other states. We are not in full lock down, schools are open and many businesses are open for reduced numbers of customers. Most people not all comply with safety rules.
That sounds a bit like here after the new restrictions. Glad to hear that you are vaccinated. Stay safe
Oh I’m sorry for more spread in Norway…
I have received both vaccine shots and I’m 95-98% immune. I still wear a mask and wash hands.
As for Covid here in the States… no lockdowns and well it depends what state you are in. Some states like Arizona… has opened up EVERYTHING and we don’t have to wear masks anymore even though the CDC says to wear them.
Like I said… I wear mine.

We are slowly coming out of lockdown, I am so relieved! Our cases are a lot lower now than they have been over the last few months. Xx
