May is here an I welcome it with open arms. I am looking forward to warmer weather, longer evenings and more days off from work. But what I am looking forward to first is to hand over the keys to our old apartment so that I just have one house to focus on. This weekend I am cleaning to make sure everything is ready for the takeover tomorrow. I have come to the point where I am really looking forward to getting rid of the keys. This does not mean that I have not had a good time there, but the whole moving process must be so stressful to make it easier to hand over your old home.
After washing all day yesterday I was so tired that I just crashed out on the sofa to watch some football and enjoy a beer. We were not up for cooking so we just ordered some take away and watched some Netflix, a good Saturday evening.
I am changing jobs again this month. I will still be with the same employer, but I will now be a part of a new small group. I am really looking forward to it and I am happy that I work somewhere that lets me have new challenges and let me develop. It will be busy to start with but I think it will be fun.

I know that feeling, Maya. We’ve just finished cleaning out my mother’s old home. She’s now in a care home. It was a relief to finally hand back the keys
I can understand that. Hope she is as good as can be in her circumstance

Yes, its so good when moving from one place to another, the letting go of the old property, just so you can focus on the one.
There’s nothing much with me than hoping to move from where I live one day.
Mum’s care needs have changed too. So mum will be at a new care home from Tuesday. Mum has dementia now.
Sorry to hear about you mother. I hope she is as good as can be with all the circumstances.
Thank you. I hope so too. By the time I see mum again, it will be over a month because of not being able to see her in hospital and with the 14 day isolation she will have to do when she arrives at the nursing home.
Mum has deteriated I have been told. So I won’t know by how much personally my myself to before, until I see her.
I am hoping the communication will be better at this nursing home, then previous care home.
I hope mum will feel settled in this one too.

You are so close to finalizing the move – congrats and the same for your new role in your company…the ability to grow and develop new skills is key to happiness in the job….I built a storage box for outdoor cushions…one of those where it’s on a printout: 145 different pieces and one small wrench…it was a challenge, but at least it was a beautiful day to be outside!
