This weekend I have spent quite a lot of time in front of my TV watching the Euros. I really do enjoy watching football on TV and the major championships are something magical to me. I have been watching them since I was a kid and even if Norway has not qualified in a very long time I always watch all the matches I can and this time is no exception, even if it is on a year too late.

It has been mostly as magical as it normally is, but the match I was really looking forward to on Saturday was between two Nordic countries, Denmark and Finland. This was Finland’s first match in a large tournament like this and Denmark was the favorites. After 42 minutes one of the largest profiles of the game Christian Eriksen fell over and went in to cardiac arrest. It was horrifying to watch and I am truly grateful that he got help so fast that he made it through and seems to be doing OK. My thoughts went out to him and his family.
I have also done something else than just sitting on the couch watching others move on the TV, I have gotten a few lovely walks in, and on one of them it started raining just as I was outside the art museum and I chose to take it as a sign that I was to go inside to enjoy a cup of coffee and a waffle and wait until the rain stopped.
This week is looking like it will be as busy as the previous one, but it should be filled with plenty of nice things as well as work. Now I will go back to my football.
Hope your week will treat you amazingly!

Hope your week is amazing. 😍
Heard the sad incident re Ericksen and watched clip of it on tv. So scary but glad that help came fast – cardiac arrest is a matter of seconds. 🙏🏾 for his total recovery. Game understandably was postponed … unsure though if he’ll be allowed to play soon.
Hope you will habe an amazing week too. They don’t know if he can play football again, but the important thing is that he is alive!
😱oh no.
You’re right – the important thing is that he is alive!
Thanks
Have a wonderful week 😊
Thank you and the same to you 🙂
Sounds like a perfectly lovely weekend. I hope all your days are enjoyable. The Erickson heart attack even made the news in the U.S.
