After a long week at work and with the weather being very lovely I decided to start the weekend by going to a shop next to where I work. They are famous in my town for their spring rolls. Ickle Pickle loves spring rolls, so I picked up some of those and some chicken wings. So we had a very easy dinner as all I needed to prepare was a small salad. After dinner we went out to the playground and played with some of the other kids in the neighbourhood. When Ickle Pickle was asleep I went for a nice walk, before retiring to the couch for the rest of the evening.

Saturday my other half had to work so after a lazy morning Ickle Pickle and myself walked in to town to do some shopping, eat some pancakes and play at the play area in the library. There were a lot of people out as it was the start of a week of school holidays. So we read books, played and drew a little and then it was time for a nap in the stroller on the way home (sadly not for me). We had gotten some nice autumn vegetables so we made them for dinner and then the whole family went to visitbsome og the nearby playgrounds. The evening was spent on the couch with some snacks.
Today we started early, as usual, and have enjoyed a nice morning. The weather looks like it will be on our side today as well, so while the other one works we will be out playing. The endless washing of cloths, tidying and such has to be progressed a bit and then my mother will come down for some food here later.

It’s just been a quiet relaxing weekend for me. I have been reading and watching a couple of films.
I will read today and I may take a walk into town for a treat.
Sounds nice. Enjoy your walk and treat
Thank you. Enjoy the remainder of your weekend.
Thank you
Sounds like a relatively relaxing weekend – never a bad thing.
It is as relaxing as a weekend with a child of almost 1,5 years can be 🙂
Hence I said “relatively”
🙂
Sounds to be a great weekend around home !
It really is! Good to spend some time with the little one without too much fuss
Having a relaxed weekend around home can be a bonus, especially with a 1 1/2 year old. Happy Sunday. Allan
Thank you, that is so true
While you have never ending parental duties, it sounds like a nice peaceful weekend at least with the ones you love…we found ourselves with two different sets of visiting friends so a weekend of going out and going out – we look forward to Monday’s return to normal life!
Thank you, sounds busy but fun
Your weekend has been a good one! How wonderful that your mum spends time with you and your baby, very precious time, Maja. I hope I got your name correct. 😮 Have a fine new week!
Thank you John, you have my name correct. A fine new week to you too
Oh good! And thanks so much! 😊
Other than checking in with distant family, I’m just writing like a crazy man. My Asian pears are ripe so I’ve been eating some of those.
Sounds like a very productive weekend. And the Asian pears sounds lovely
Sounds like a lovely and relaxing weekend!
I got to see my grandbaby this past weekend! It was fabulous!
Sounds lovely. I love seing how both my mother and Ickle Pickle light up when they see eachother
I am guessing Ickle Pickle is small! And rest when you can builds stamina! My weekend was Jackie Kay and Caroline Lucas at Manchester Writing Festival and the all hands on deck with 4 year old granddaughter on Sunday. Joys of grandparenting but no time to check up on Word Press.
Ickle Pickle is almost 1,5 years and small for her age. Sounds like you had a very good and inspireing weekend
Yes, combining children with freedom to explore ideas/ books! It does get easier to add in the personal but takes a while.
Keep up the great work!
Thank you
How old is your little one? You sound as though you had a very lovely weekend, I am so glad you did!
