I love that idea…helping those less fortunate to celebrate the season as well….especially for children
I don’t do much, but the little I do is one of the things that puts me in the holiday spirit
We try to take part when given the opportunity, and always leave gifts for kids at community locations for them to give to the right families…

I just came across your blog while getting the carpets cleaned. It’s been so fun to read through some of the posts! We did a “sub for Santa” this year to help out some families in our town and that was a great experience. Definitely makes you think more about serving others, I hope it’s a feeling we can take throughout the next year!
Thank you so much for your nice comment. Sub for Santa sounds nice, we have donated to some of our local charity groups that are so great and easy access for donating. So we have given some presents for children and in one of our local shops you can donate food, candy and other things to make sure someone gets to have a nice meal and some enjoyment at Christmas. If you buy a little extra a few times it is hardly noticable on the total amount spent.

Nice! There are places like Goodwill to donate here in Vegas. I’m sure there are many more.
