Spring time

March and springtime is here. My form is still very slowly improving and the weather is behaving more like autumn, with heavy rain today. But in general things are feeling more like spring. The first flowers are out and all the birds are making a comeback.

As I mentioned in my last post one of the things I was going to use some energy on was to get rid of some of the stuff Ickle Pickle are no longer using. So Tuesday evening I set up my shelf, just in time for Wednesday’s “late night shopping”. So hopfully someone wants to buy my stuff, so I don’t have to take it all back. This would be very bad as I already found some more stuff to bring home from the shop when I was there.

The previous weekend I spent a lot of time gathering energy and taking Ickle Pickle to play outdoors and we went to the art museum to look at a kids exibit and to eat some waffles. And at the end of the weekend we had take away at my mothers house. all in all it was a good weekend.

The massage place I sometimes treat myself to

Monday I had a massage booked. I was actually supposed to have one just after I was put in to hospital, but obviously that one had to be postponed, so Monday was the day. This one was a christmas gift, so it was about time to use it! It was much needed and very relaxing. I made it in to town a good while before my appointment anddecided to take atvantage of the Monday deal one of the local hotels had on their lovely breakfast. So I had a really induldgent and relaxing start to the week.

At the summer-house

Tuesday my mother and I drove in to open up our summer-house for the year. We did not turn on the water or anything like that because it is still likely that we will have some frozen nights, but we went in to check and air the place out. There were some traces of mice, but no damage was done and they had not hung around much.

Weather a bit grey, but we avoided the rain

Yesterday I went to do some more blood tests and then I had a few little things to do. One of them was to pick up the new tablet I had ordered. So far I am happy with it, but it is always hard to try and get used to new keyboards, so appologies for this post probably containing more spelling errors than normal. I did read it before posting, but I am not good at cathching my mistakes.

How has March treated you, so far?

  1. Our March was glorious right from its beginning and still is. Frost in the night and morning, full sunshine all day long. A weather we like. The snowdrops are still out as well as the aconites and the friendly daffodils.
    Wishing you all the best

  2. Awww, spring flowers. We are a ways away from that here, but the warm weather has melted most of the snow. Glad you are getting back in the swing of things Maja. Happy Thursday. Allan

  3. You have so many things on your plate while you continue to recover…glad you had a massage to have some “you time”…first, it’s crazy we are into March already – time is flying! I have a three city trip coming up with things to do in each one so it’s travel time – but at least it ends up on the west coast with temperatures in the 70’s!

  4. I’m glad that you are feeling much better, Maja! The lake is very beautiful, I’m glad the mice didn’t tear up the house. Congrats on the new tablet, getting a new toy is always fun! I can’t remember the last time I had a massage, maybe never. Be well! 🙏🏻❤️

      1. Oh, I wondered if the water was salty, hard to tell. I’m glad you like your new device, Maja, have a great weekend! 😊❤️

  5. The summer house and barge looks very nice. We don’t have that. It is common in Sweden and Norway to have a summer house but not here in Texas. As for us we are going on a ski trip to Breckenridge, Colorado in 9 days.

  6. When we type Speed, spelling mistake occurs. I think it happens with so many people. I love the people who are true from the heart . May peace and happiness surround you always. 💐🎄

  7. In Arizona we had a summer house, we called it Our Little Red House. Over a year ago we moved from my native state, where I was born, it got really bad with the cartels and drugs there, and now we live in The Ozarks where there are all kinds of trees, creeks, waterfalls, and lakes. We are 5 minutes away from the lake. We no longer have a summer home but I love that idea of having another place to visit and rest at. I bet your summer home is beautiful.
