After our first full day in Legoland, it was time for a new one and this time with the rest of the group. We met up after breakfast and were there at opening. The oldest two had a plan mapped out of what to catch at the opening when queues are a little shorter. The rest of us took things a bit slower and took the train around again, walked a bit and spent some time at Duplo land, with the monorail, another small train, a ferris wheel and a ride with small airplanes.

We had done some of them the day before, but during the day Ickle Pickle wanted to try more and more of what she did not want to try the day before and at the start of the day. And she is at the age where she loves repetition, so she had even more fun doing things a second (or third or fourth) time.

We all met up to grab a snack and do some things that everyone could enjoy. Pickles really enjoyed spending the time with her older cousins as well. She also always enjoys getting some snacks.

This day was also warm and nice, but it was a little bit overcast, so it was not as uncomfortable as it was at times the day before. When it was time for the little ones to have a little nap, the heavens opened and sent down a lot of rain. But luckily it only lasted about the duration of the nap.

After the rain we all went for some lunch, this time most of us got a quite ok pita with so much filling that no one managed to finish it, so we had a little bit left over each. We were very happy with getting the refillable cups that we could fill up at a few different drink stations around the park. The older kids enjoyed being allowed to mix as many sodas as they wished. I mostly appreciated the sparkling water.

One of the favorite places, for Pickles and her cousin that is the same age, in the park was Peppa Pig playground. We played a lot there and caught the show both days the first day in Danish and the second one in English. There was a lot of excitement and dancing.

The last ride of the day everybody (a part form me, as I was minding all the stuff) did the large tower where you get to see all of the park. This was a ride that had had a long queue for most of the day, but just before closing time there was not too many people waiting in line.

As the shops were open about an hour longer than the other things in the park, we saved the shopping for last. We also decided to end the day in the park with a nice ice cream. Just as I was getting mine a wasp sneaked under my dress and stung me twice, causing me to lose my ice cream and have a not so pleasant end to the stay in the park.

We had done our shopping the day before so we could sit outside the shops and do some dancing, running and those that still had Ice creams could finish them before we went beck to the cabins when the park closed.

We were all tired after a long day, so after the park closed, we went to the shop and went back to one of the cabins and made a light easy dinner and spent a little time together before going to bed very tired, but happy.

A big day for Ickle Pickle and the rest of you. This looks like a great place to go with young children. The 2nd day gives them an idea of what to expect and they seem to enjoy it more. Happy Monday Maja. Allan
