What could you do more of?
Trying one of these writing promts again as I quite enjoyed it the last time.
The question today was “what could you do more of?” I am sure there are over a million things I could and should do more of, but today I want to focus on taking the time to enjoy the little things.
When everything feels busy and overwhelming, I feel it is important to try to take the time to enjoy the little things that brings you joy and helps you focus.

I love taking a little break with some me time, to do something I really enjoy, even if all I have time for is a very small breather. Like enjoying a nice meal, seeing a good friend or doing something else you like. Not because you feel you have to or should, but because you want to.
It is always important to try to take care of yourself, that is the only way you can be there for yourself and others. The times when it seems the hardest to find the time for this is when it is the most important to prioritise the small breaks.
One of the things I like to do is to enjoy some good food or snacks, by myself and just enjoy either watching the world go by or think about why I do all the things that feel so busy just then and there. It often shift the perspective and help me focus. And a lot of the time enjoing something and breathing deeply helps some of the stress go away.

You’re an inspiration
Thank you very much for your kind words!
I love this! Many discuss relaxation by watching ocean waves, a beautiful sunset or some other calming escape from the world…I think having a nice meal, trying something new and different, and enjoying the moment and keeping the chaos of the world at check is truly a great way to find inner peace…great idea!
Thank you, I do find peace going for a walk in the woods or by the sea. But that brings me calm rather than joy and is better for when I am not too overwhelmed.
That’s a great point
I agree. everyone needs some me-time, taking a break, relaxation, eating something good. That shrimp sandwich looks very good.
Thank you, it was quite tasty!
I always spend “me time” too. It’s very needed. Keep answering the prompt, Masgautsen. It’s fun!
Thank you Hazel. I have enjoyed it 🙂
My pleasure, masgautsen! Enjoy your Wednesday!
Enjoy yours to Hazel!
Thanks, masgautsen. It was lovely. It’s night here now.
nutricious
lovely 🙂
So very true. At least you know about how important self care is. The whole family benefits.
Thank you. I think they do, it is the same princple as on the plane. Put your own mask on before helping others
Maja, great perspective. I find many of the “musts”… must do, must have, must reply… are not “musts” at all; they’re just the unrealistic expectations of others. Taking time for yourself is beneficial to your well-being on so many levels. We only go around once! 😎
Thank you Darryl! I do agree.
I have information that pertains to an understanding being presented as a misunderstanding to perpetrate the illusion of confusion among followers who have interpreted messages correctly by falsely claiming to have interpreted messages correctly without understanding they were interpreting messages correctly under the guise of convincing the fake news that the theories presented are correctly false which has had the effect of making anons chase their tail in the guise of the deep state chasing its tail illuminating the location of the deep state within the psyche of the boogaloo which is really the oolagoob, the followers of which are goobers calling themselves goobs but in reality are hiding in plain site as rubes.
Good me time things to do!
