Today, it’s 35 years since I was born. I hope you will all have an enjoyable day. I had a small celeberation with family outside when the helped me move and with my mother yesterday. I will make sure to do something nice today as well.

A story I think you would enjoy…
The Church was giving away the Easter Lilies (Lilium Longiflorium) that were used for the Easter celebration. I only took one. Excited to figure out where to plant the lily to give it the best change to survive here is the heat, sun and moisture. And I think I will drive by the church today and if some still remaining, I will scoop them up for a garden cluster planting.
Since moving to this property I have planted seven native trees – some quite large and beautiful now. I’ve tried many plantings that seem to be short duration, i.e., poinsettia (wood too frail) for our winds.
I want to plant more trees but risk being labeled a eco-nut. Ha! Still neighbors enjoy the shade these throw on the sideway and street.
So I celebrate your birthday and your new home with Easter lilies. May your place be always bright, cheerful and green.
