#TTT Scotland 2022: Party time

After our trip to Dunottar Castle, we headed to our destination, where our friends party was going to be held. We drove to the small town or village of Aberchirder also known as Foggieloan. I found the village to be very charming and welcoming. And after parking up we took a little walk though the village to have a look and get to a shop. The roads was a little tight and the buildings where what I imagined a typical small village in the Scottish countryside.

A very cosy inn where we stayed

We then checked in to the lovely little Inn where we were spending a couple of nights. The Inn was run by a lovely couple that where so welcoming. The room was upstairs and downstairs there was a pub in the front and a party room at the back and this is where the party was going to be held. They also had their own little brewery and beer garden.

The birthday party was a surprise party, and the guest of honor did not know that friends and family was going to be there, he therefore did not know that we had taken the trip from Norway over to see them and join in on the big day.  He was very happy with his surprise. The food was lovely, the company great and we had such a good time.

The next day we had breakfast with the family we came to see and then we went over to their house, an old schoolhouse and school that they are redecorating and building in to a wonderful home that we will be back to visit, hopefully sometime soon.
