I am very slowly trying to get back to normal after my visit to the hospital. I still have very little energy and still on soft foods only and I have to eat small meals. I am able to do small walks to take Ickle Pickle to kindergarden, to the doctor or to the shop. But I can’t do very much and have to prioritize the little energy I have. And I use most of it on the little one when she is home. And I try to get as much rest as I can.

One of the things that I am doing, that can be done from the comfort of my sofa, is to sort some of Pickles old clothes. Before I got sick I signed up to rent a shelf at a local shop/flea marked where you rent a shelf for the time of your choosing for a small fee and sell childrens clothes and toys. They take a small commission, but otherwise you get the proceeds. A lot of the stuff that you donate can end up in a dump somewhere, so selling things quite cheap is to me a great way to circulate clothes and buy stuff you need in return. We have shopped a lot there and now we need to get rid of something that is just taking up space.
The weather here is very up and down at the moment, but there have been some very good parts when I have been out walking, but it has been stormy and wet other parts of the day. Luckilly it is not very cold here at the moment so it has been quite lovely to get a bit of fresh air and a little sunshine that also help with boosting the energy.
I am slowly getting around to visiting your blogs and the posts that came when I was gone and I am enjoying it a lot. But as with everything these days it is taking a lot of time now that I am running on about 20% of normal capacity.
What are you up to this week? Has the month treated you well?

So happy to read you have been able to go for short walks (lovely photo). May God continue to bless you with a bit more energy each and every day💗.
Thank you very much. I am hoping for continuous improvement and it looks like I’ve been heard ❤️
Keep going at the pace that suits you. Take it slow, as frustrating it may be. Eventually you will get there.
That’s a good idea, being able to rent a shelf to sell stuff.
Thank you, that is what I strive to do.
I really like the concept too
Good to hear from you that you are recovering quickly. Take care and have a blessed year Dear.
Thank you, and the same to you!
I’m so happy that you are getting out and about while running at 20% capacity, Maja! I’m sure you’ll be at 100% soon! The photo is very beautiful, wow. ❤️🙏🏻😊
Thank you. I am slowly charging and think that the fresh air and a little sunlight is helping
You are welcome. 😊
Hope you are starting to feel on the mend. Great idea to sort clothes as a low energy high reward task.
Thank you, it has been on the list for ages, but now I had the time ❤️
A mom’s life is filled with so many of these little tasks. xo So cute to look over the clothes they’ve outgrown.
And a little hard to let them go, but you can’t keep them all…
Quite difficult to let them go, I agree. But must make room for the new phase. : )
How very true
Small progress is still progress, little by little, you will get to where you want to and need to be.
Thank you, you are right
Just take it easy, we’re not going anywhere
Get well and get healthy.
Thank you, I’m working on it
Taking it easy this month and looking forward to spring
Thank you, sounds like a good plan
Take your time to make sure you don’t put your recovery at risk…I love the idea of selling leftover clothing and goods – it’s recycling instead of wasting!
Thank you, I am very careful.
Dear Mas, I’m so sorry to learn that you haven’t been well — and even to the hospital. Having no energy is very frustrating. Try to be patient with yourself. Take good care of you. Big hugs.
Thank you.
I am so sorry about all you’re going through. Take it slow and steady!
Thank you, I will!
Hope you recover well and feel better soon. Take good care of yourself.
Thank you, I will
I wish you a quick recovery.
Thank you.
I hope you get well soon. 🌹
Thank you!
Thanks for sharing
As young as you are, it would be your natural instinct to push ahead even when your body says no. I’m glad you are taking it slow and letting the body heal. It will serve you well later. Love the idea of an exchange for children’s clothing. They grow fast and can’t wear anything our. I’m with you on not wanting things in the landfill. I buy most of my clothes second hand. I’m old and have no need to impress. You are doing all the right things. We will keep good thoughts and cheer you on while you get back to 100%
Thank you very much for you kind words Marlene ❤️ I take things as slow as I can
Except for straining my back I am doing fine. However, my mother in law fell and could not get back up and they needed help. My father in law is 94 and she is 89. Then she got sick so we took her to the emergency. On my way back, about 1:30AM on Saturday morning I saw a major water leak in the street. I called the authorities, which was good because it was a major leak. There were about 30 trucks and a hundred people trying to fix it. The street looked like a swimking pool. They turned off the water to our neighborhood. So it was a stressful weekend. I am glad I called but between water shut-offs, my aching back and worries about my mother in law it was a stressful weekend.
But you have had a bad wekeend too. I hope you reocever well and quickly and feel better soon.
Oh no, sounds like a terrible weekend. Hope your back is better and that your mother in law is on the mend.
Good thing you saw the leak when you did!
Yes that was a very major leak. They tore up the entire street. My back is better today and my mother in law is back home recovering. Thank you so much Masgautsen.
Glad to hear!
Glad you’re on the mend! 💓
Thank you, so am I
Wish you a speedy recovery!
Thank you!
I like the idea of the consignment shelf for clothing. Take care of yourself.
Thank you, I will. I’ll keep you all posted to see if I like having a shelf
I am glad you could get outside. Take one day at a time. Feel better my friend.
Thank you very much Nancy!
I am home again and recovering from my latest visit to the ER. I have to see my cardiologist next week so we shall see.
Sorry, to hear about your troubles. Good luck on your recovery
