Easter in Ireland 2025: Food and drink

We are enjoying our time at our summer-house and the sunshine is making this trip feel like a bit of summer. There will be a little post from this trip later in the week, but for now let’s get back to Ireland.

A birthday Lemon Spritz with a view in the sunshine!

I had a lot of nice food and drink on my travels to Ireland. And I did not take photos of all of it, because sometimes it’s not the right time to photograph your food and also because this post would have had way too many photos in it. But below are a few photos of some of the things I enjoyed while over there. Of the things I did not get a decent photo of, but that was among the tastiest things I had, was a really great fish pie at the hotel.

Irish cheese board with an Irish Bulmers (called Magners outside of Ireland)
A very tasty chicken ramen soup at Sushida, a place we always visit
A very delicious razberry chocolate mousse and the mandatory Irish coffee
Nice pizza from Milanos with a chilled rose wine
A banoffee pie hidden under there!

I am very lucky to have a young one that enjoyes many different kinds of food and is also quite easy to bring to a resurant.

Hope the weekend is kind to you all!

  1. It all looks so delicious Maja, a far cry from what was on offer when we honeymooned in Ireland in 1977. Pretty basic fare then. Have a great weekend. Allan
