In Denmark we lived in Lalandia Bilund. That is a holiday center just next to Legoland. It is a great place to stay. We had our own little cabin that was placed in little streets with other cabins. With little playgrounds around and a small train that could take you to the main center. Our cabin had two bedrooms a bathroom and a fully equiped kitchen/livingroom. We only made breakfast there, but you could make all the food there if you wanted.

The weather was amazing when we where there and it was a really lovely Scandinavian summer with temperatures up to around 30 degrees Celcius during the day. This made for lovely evenings, and having a little cabin with outdoor space we could sit outside when Ickle Pickle was asleep and enjoy something to drink while chatting and getting visits from a couple of hares that jumped around on the lawn and in to the little woods.

Outside Lalandia there were little petting goats, playgrounds that was very good and a big adventure tower. That tower was also a view point, but the days we were there I never had time to think to go up before it was closed for the day.
They also had a little train that went from the cabins to the main building. That you could take if you were not up for walking. The drivers always rang the bell and gave a wave to Ickle Pickle and she loved it.

Lalandia has a realtor, a supermarked, shops, restaurants and streets that make it look like you are outside when you are indoors. This was a bit wierd when you felt like it was evening time inside, but the sun was shining bright when you went outside.

We had dinner at one of the resturants there one of the days and was quite happy with it. We chose the buffet resturant where you could eat from two different buffets, one italian and one mexican. There was a lot of nice dishes, meats and cheeses and I mostly picked things from the Italian buffet, they also had nice wines and other bevereages.

There was also Monkey Tonkey land, a playland for the kids, the Aquadome (a really good water park), ice skating rink, paddel, sportshall, zip line, little Las Vegas, bowling, trampolined and mini golf (we did not get a chance to try everything, but we will be back when Ickle Pickle is older).

We really enjoyed being there and it was a perfect set up for getting to spend some time with our family when they arrived from Ireland. It was also great for us to go after schools had started in Scanidinavia, so it was still full in the accomodations, but there were less people using all the facilities.
