A while ago I was going to our summer-house to rest and enjoy the very good weather. But sadly an illness stopped me. Earlier this week I got to go in for a little while and even if the weather was not very good it was a peaceful relaxing break.

The cabin trip contained eating nice food, reading and going for walks when the rain didn’t pour down. Very good for the body and mind.

It didn’t rain all the time we were there. Most of the time it was overcast, and there wasn’t much wind. Despite this I decided against going out fishing. I’ll have to go back and do that later.

The time to return to the city came all to quickly, as these things often do. I was sad to have to leave, but I came home with my batteries a little bit more charged.

A bit of time out and time away does wonders!
Oh, it really does! You come back a better version of yourself 🙂
I love the photo of the brook and the waterfront. It sounds like a very nice trip.
Thank you it really was lovely. I hope I get to go back sooner rather than later!
And charged batteries are always a good thing! Glad you were able to get away.
Thank you, so was I
Maybe the next trip will charge the batteries fully. I could happily charge mine there. 🙂 So peaceful looking.
It really is. You’re welcome to visit if you should ever find yourself in Norway!
I’m already thinking how I can make one more trip abroad. I would love to go visit lots of bloggers all over. Planning, careful planning. I’m German born. I miss it.
It’s a long way to travel, but nice if it works out 🙂
It’s not very likely but one can hope.
