It’s probably a bit my fault for jinxing the weather in my post yesterday, but the weather today was nothing as nice as then. When I woke up this morning it was pouring down with rain and there was also quite a bit of fog.
We decided to spend the day at my mother’s house where she has kindly let the boyfriend lend a room for his 3d priter (I suspect that half the reason she did this was to make sure he came by often, so he can help her with things, but it turned out to be a case of everybody wins). I got myself a cup of coffee and continued to enjoy your nice blog posts.
The weather cleared up a bit after a while and I just had to get out for a walk to get some fresh air. Even if it was not the best of weather I enjoyed the walk and soaked in the signs of spring that I could find. The birds was tweeting so much I swear the were trying to out-tweet #sundayblogshare, and the trees look quite ready for springtime.
Now I will do some more blogg-reading and then we’re getting some thai take-away for a very lazy Sunday dinner. And I’m going to make sure that I do my best to start the next week as rested as I can, because it’s going to be a busy one.
The weather has been very on and off, but spring has defenetly arrived
I have been very busy this week and it will be even worse next week. So unfortunantly I have neglected my blog and the blogs I usually like to read. But that’s just the way it is at times. Hopefully I will have some time to catch up with some of you over the weekend.
Dinner after a long day at the office yesterday
I am very much looking forward of easter and a bit of a holiday. It’s been quite some time since I have felt the need for a vacation this strongly. But even if I am very busy it’s a good kind of busy and I am enjoying.
Today has been quite a good day. I woke up early got a few hours of work in. Then it was time for lunch, some gift shopping and a lovely walk in the sunshine we were lucky to get today. Now It’s time for some blog reading and a cup of tea.
I hope you’re all doing well and that life is treating you kind.
Old canning factory
This weekend has had a very spring like feeling. After sending a me day on friday I had a relaxing evening and a chilled out morning. After that I had a entertainment competition with my band. It was all good fun and not a serious thing. The highlight of the competition was a visiting band from Wales. Consisting mostly of elderly people that started playing late in life.
Street Art in centre of Stavanger
When I had played in the competition, I hurried home to go change for one of my best friends’ 30th birthday party. There was sooo much good food and the company was great. We enjoyed some fun party games and a few drinks.
So today started a bit slow. I went out for a nice breakfast and the weather was so nice that I went for a good long walk by the sea through an old industrial area that is slowly but surely is being done up quite nicely in the old style.
Art made on a wall after a little fire
Now I will go back to the wonderful #sundayblogshare at the “big up your blog” group at Facebook and enjoy some good blog posts.
Swans and Birds lazing on the lawn in town
The sun has been shining on Stavanger lately and I’m enjoying a lot. Spring has really hit our part of the world. Walking around enjoying and soaking up all the vitamin D charging my batteries. And it’s bringing a lovely temperatur.
I am on a hunt for a costume for a 90 ‘ s party that I’m going to this weekend for my friends 30’th birthday. I think it could be fun as there are plenty of great people comming.
Life is smiling and so am I, even if I have way to much food!
Hope life is smiling to you all! I know I am on a sunshine high!
View from Stavanger harbour
Spring has decided to visit and the weather here is stunning! I’m only in to eat now before I’m going back out to enjoy a walk like yesterday.
The weather is supposed to keep nice and I hope it will. I’m going to summer house for the first sleep – over this year.
Sunset over the Geo-park
It’s soon easter holidays and I’m looking forward to some time off. I hope you have a week as great as mine has started.
My lovely town
This weekend the weather was amazing. Now on the first of March when many concider spring to start the weather here has taken a turn for the worse. Sunday was sunny and bright today there is a lot of wind and some rain and snow. I know what I prefer of the two. I can’t wait for spring to come and I’m very much looking forward to warmer weather.
Some flowers for my Mum
I got these colourful roses for my Mum this weekend so that we could both get a little feel of spring. It’s so bad out that I’m actually thinking about postponing my planned trip to the shop.
Spring time where are you? Please come here and stay untill Summer!
Waiting for the ferry, looking at the fjord.
A while ago I was going to our summer-house to rest and enjoy the very good weather. But sadly an illness stopped me. Earlier this week I got to go in for a little while and even if the weather was not very good it was a peaceful relaxing break.
Not the best weather, but we enjoyed
The cabin trip contained eating nice food, reading and going for walks when the rain didn’t pour down. Very good for the body and mind.
Brook was quite active as the rain had done its magic
It didn’t rain all the time we were there. Most of the time it was overcast, and there wasn’t much wind. Despite this I decided against going out fishing. I’ll have to go back and do that later.
The time to return to the city came all to quickly, as these things often do. I was sad to have to leave, but I came home with my batteries a little bit more charged.
Waiting for ferry going home.
