2016 was welcomed with a great new years party with good friends. Watching the fireworks, eating good food, drinking bubbly, playing games and enjoying eachothers company into the early hours of the New Year. This resulted in yesterday being quite a quiet day, with breakfast with friends and dinner at my parents house being the only thing happening if you don’t count sitting on the sofa watching tv shows.
I both hope and believe that this year will bring a lot of great things for me and the people I care about.
There are quite a few parties going on around the blog world. If you want to start the new year by meeting new people, read great new post and get your blog out there I would recommend you all to go visit:
The last one of these is a party celebrating the fact that Steve has started a new radio channel and you get a chance to request a song that might get played. Mine did and I must say it was very cool to have your song play on the radio after posting on the party post!
I’m going to get another cup of tea and sit down and enjoy all the parties. Hope that 2016 has a great deal of goodness a head for all of you!

Hi there! Happy New Year! I found your link over on Mostly Blogging, and wanted to come say hello. Sounds like you had a wild party compared to my New Year’s Eve. LOL We all were watching episodes of The Twilight Zone, and completely forgot to watch the ball drop. LOL We did enjoy hearing the guy across the river shoot off his cannon, though. Yes. I said cannon. But not to worry, my hubby says he must use some sort of blank. We’ve lived here for 18 years, and nobody’s got a cannon ball through their roof, so he must be right! 😉
