Yesterday I celebrated the 30th birthday of one of my closest friends. It was a very good party and it lasted till early morning. So today I decided it was a good idea to go for a walk to get some fresh air. The weather could have been better, it was grey, a bit of fog and a light drizzle of rain. But the fresh air was nice and did me good.
What have you decided to do the is weekend?
Probably not the healthiest option but I’m staying cosy indoors!
Sounds nice. I’m on the couch watching biathlon and enjoying blogs at the moment.
Great!… so true: everything is grey (-ish) (except a few little yellow flags, which are hard to recognize at first sight!)… have a peaceful sunday! 😀
Thank you and the same to you!
Rain outside–work on blogs and visit blogs inside!
Sounds like a good way to spend a rainy day!
I’m in New Brunswick, Canada…and, it’s really grey today….I’m really grateful to have posts such as yours to brighten my day 🙂 I think I will have an early night after that….a great sleep makes all the difference….wishing you a good day…thanks for sharing 🙂
Thank you so much for your kind words! I had an early night yesterday too. Best to start the new week rested.
Did all our running around yesterday, and caught a movie. Today is all about catching up my blog work. Tomorrow is a holiday, and I have it earmarked for writing.
Sounds like a great way to spend the weekend and a holiday!
I enjoyed a nice curry in my favourite Indian/Bangladeshi restaurant earlier with a good glass of white wine. The weather has been ok, although it was raining slightly when I walked home around an hour and a half ago. Kevin
I like your juxtaposition in the photo; the museum and stones are as grey as the skies.
Yes, except for a few little details, like the flags, it might have been a black and white photo.
There is a loneliness in that picture.
I never thought about that. Now you mentioned it I can see it.
Sounds like the weather we have been having. Other than church I was in all weekend. While nice for the downtime got a little crazy!
Hehe I know the feeling.
That is the standard operating color of Portland, Oregon. It’s raining, as usual. There will be nothing but rain for another 15 days at least. No walks outside. But I have blogs to read, and work to do inside so I’ll enjoy this while it lasts. When summer comes, we pray for a drop of rain or a bit of breeze. Sounds like you really know how to party. 🙂 Ah, thirty. I don’t think I remember that year. 🙂 Too long ago.
I’m sorry, it seems I missed your comment here. The weather here is now sunny and cold, but over here it’s always very uncertain. Hoping the sun will last over the weekend so I can enjoy a good long walk.
