Friday I got home from work and did very little apart from reading a good book and eating snacks with my feet up high. I was tired after an eventful week and when I finished the book I went to bed early. It was the perfect Friday evening for me.
Yesterday I had a little sleep in before doing something that I find to be a weekend luxury, I got a cup of coffee, got back in to bed and enjoyed some podcasts and read the news and a few blog posts. The weather was sunny, but cold and it was really a nice day out. After breakfast I went for a walk, before doing some cleaning. We got a bit of help washing all the windows inside and out. The I watched some football and tidies some more. In the evening we got take away and watched some Netflix.
Today I woke up early to go in to the office, but there was something wrong with my access card so I could not get in. That was a bit annoying but there was little I could do about it on a Sunday. So I drove home and went for a walk instead. I was lucky enough to avoid the most of the snow that is falling down today. Then it was time to check off some more points on the list for when we have someone coming in to take photos of the apartment. My mother has invited us for dinner a bit later, so that is really something to look forward to.
Next week is going to be very busy, both at work and home, but I will get some time to chill this evening, I hope. Hope your weekends have treated you well and that you can enjoy your days even if the options are a bit restricted at the moment.

We are slowly trying to re-open here in California, as radical elements still protest the vaccine, masks, etc. What a idiotic world we are struggling to get through!

Thank you, I did get up about two hours earlier than I would have if I was not going to work. But I got a sleep in the day before so that was nice.

Days have a mind of their own and sometimes you just have to go with the flow. Sounds like you had a very nice flow. A little of this and a little of that. My daughter and I ran errands yesterday and today we walked inside the mall then bought me new walking shoes and take away for lunch. A nap always follows errands so we had a good weekend. Tomorrow, work for both of us. Mine just work on projects, hers is office work from home. I love my lazy life.
Sounds wonderful Marlene, it is always nice to get out and about a bit and good shoes are really essential for going out walking. Hope your week will be a good one!
