This weekend has started quite lovely. I had a quiet evening yesterday and only manage to watch half the Premiere League game before I fell asleep. So I woke up a little bit early feeling well rested this morning. Just after waking up I got a text saying that a package was delivered on my doorstep. The package was a nice box with breakfast from my other half’s job.
We got a voucher from his work to get a lovely box filled with fresh orange juice, pancake batter, fresh rolls, blueberry jam and some mini chocolate doughnuts. I thought it was a really lovely gift to give to their employees and the families for their good work on a project. We got to choose between a few options and we got to decide when it was a good time for us to get it.
There was no way we were going to be able to eat it all for breakfast, and so we have nice food for the weekend. But I wanted to start with a good breakfast and had to tidy some room on the dining table so that we could enjoy the the breakfast together.
The weather is so lovely outside this morning that I think I might have to spend some of it in the back garden. The plan after breakfast is to sit outside and enjoy a good cup of coffee enjoying reading some blog posts.

That is the perfect gift for people who are still unpacking and putting house together! No one has much time to prepare meals under those conditions. That can put you both is a perfect frame of mind to both relax and get a little work done. Enjoy. It’s cool and cloudy here but I have lots to do today. Coffee is finished, walk is complete and my daughter will make our breakfast shortly. Then I pick a direction to start or finish a project. Such a long list. The garden will wait until later today when it warms up a bit. Happy Saturday.
