This week has gone by so fast. Monday I had a normal day at work and I got home to sort out a few little things and to watch quite a bit of football in the Euros.
Tuesday I worked a lot and had a hair cut. Wednesday I worked a couple hours extra before I drove off to play a couple of pop up concerts with my band. And then I hurried to get to the last bit of a 40th celebration for a friend. It was a very busy but good day.
Thursday we got the time to put up a new small wardrobe in the hall, well I did help some but then I had to go pick up my brother at the airport, and when I came back there was not to much left for doing so I got to watch my football. I was tired so I decided to watch the second half of the last game in bed and I woke up a few hours later with the laptop in my lap.
Friday my head was not functioning as well as I would like, it seemed to have taken an early weekend, so I went home from work a little early. I went home and had a little nap before going for a walk and then went up for a taco night at my mothers house. We ate chatted and watched football. My brother was running the next day so they left a bit early, but as I showed in my last post I got a lovely stroll home.
Saturday I got up made a nice breakfast, I used the leftovers in my fridge as it had been some time since I had done a proper shopping trip. So, after breakfast that is what we did. The weather was a bit rainy in the morning so it did not feel to bad staying in and doing some work in the house. Then I went to watch my brother run a half marathon.

That seems like a nice mix of business and pleasure! A week of packing and planning for a long-delayed trip now that the world is beginning to open up again!

Glad your band is back playing. Seems like you have been keeping busy. Here we have been alternating between walks, exercise, yard work and chores. Nothing exciting, but today is Fathers’ Day and we are going to go visit son and wife. Will be a nice chance to catch up. Stay well. Allan

Beautiful pictures. I am glad you chose to take an early weekend when you didn’t feel your best. Taking care of yourself is very important, I think we all learned that last year!
I spent the whole week looking for work and sadly found nothing. I woke up to start this new week with little sprouts of hope in the form of some gig contracts! So while last week was a bust, this week looks to be far better.
The one great thing about last week was I got a surprise present off my long-time wishlist, a Kitchenaid mixer! I made a wonderfully homemade pepperoni pizza. It’s those little treasured moments in life that make each day a new adventure.
Thank you, I try to do that, but I can always get better.
