As I shared in a previous post, we went home from the summer-house to continue the vacation with other adventures.
So Tuesday morning we had a lovely walk in the sunshine down to town to get on a boat for a lovely trip out to a little island, where they have a magical garden called Flor og Fjære.
As mentioned it was a beautiful day, warm with sunshine and a good day for a boat ride. We arrived at the magical large gardens and was struck by the beauty of all the flowers.
We met with our guide in small groups and got shown around the lovely gardens. The tour was amazing and all the beautiful flowers and plants just left us in a great mood. Having a great guide also made the experience even better.
This garden was opened to visitors in 1995 and has grown and gotten more stunning every year since. They change every year and before the start of this season, in May, they have planted over 50 000 plants. The garden has a new theme and a new design with new color schemes every year.
It was a long time since I had been there last and the same was true for my mother, who joined us for the trip. My other half had been a couple of years ago, but as the garden changes every year he was just as impressed as us.
The island was so beautiful that my camera really got good use. If you like the photos I can promise some more tomorrow.

They have to take them in in the depths of winter, but a part from that it is a quite warm spot without much wind.
