This week went by really fast and the weekend has come again. Nothing much happened, and that is quite good. The weekend started off with me having invited my mother over for a nice salmon and mashed root vegetables, before she went on holiday. And she got to play with Ickle Pickle and enjoy the afternoon.
Today we have been taking advantage of the lovely sunshine we have, even if it is really cold. So we went to a couple playgrounds nearby and tried to soak up some rays of sunshine and vitamine D. Now I am putting off hanging up some clothes that are in the washing machine. It is a lot nicer to write a little blog post. Later on the other half is going out to watch some Rugby and us girls will eat some nachos and watch a flim that Ickle Pickle likes. We might even treat ourself to some ice cream later.
Tomorrow I hope we can spend some time outdoors before I go off to play a concert with my band. We have two concerts to go before we are playing in the Norwegian Championship next Friday. I am really looking forward to travelling to Bergen!

It sounds like the perfect weekend. New York is cold today – I know shouldn’t complain about 36 degrees! Sunny out so a nice walk through Central Park and then off to make a unique Portuguese dish that a friend turned me on to – will share the results so wish me luck! cheers!

This week did seem to go by fast and it is hard to believe that January is past already. We had warmer weather here for a week or so, but we are back in the deep freeze now (-22C). The upside is we have much more daylight now. Happy Groundhog Day.

We were overcast on Groundhog Day so only six more weeks of winter, yay, lol. It is -25 today, but the wind is calm which makes it much more bearable.
