Easter in Ireland 2025: Getting there

We are enjoying a lovely Easter holiday here in Ireland. The flighs went as planned . The first one took us to Copenhagen. We met some people we knew that was on the same two flights as us.

We are lucky that Ickle Pickle is quite good at flying and she was sleeping on the first leg and enjoying her snacks and toys on the next one. There is always some worry with flying with small kids, but we have always been lucky (so far, hope I have not jinxed it).

The second flight also went as planned and we landed on time. It was a little late so we stayed a night at an airport hotel, so we did not have to travel any more that day. The hotel was nice and quite busy. I spent a little time in the bar enjoying a snacks and a Bulmers.

The breakfast was lovely and we ate well before we got in to the car and had a short stop with a family member before we headed West.

How have you spent your Easter?

  1. I’m glad your trip was good, Maja! I have been on a few flights that had screaming babies, it was not pleasant! I arrived home from Michigan today, had a good flight home to Las Vegas.

  2. It sounds busy, but also like you were enjoying it to the fullest, Mas. I’m intrigued by Bulmers — I love cider, though I haven’t had any in years. Now that you’ve reminded me of it, I’ll keep an eye out. Hugs.
