Vacation at the summer-house

This summer after we had been to visit the tropical paradise at Flor and Fjære, that I have blogged about, myself and Ickle Pickle joined my mother for a trip to our summer-house.

We were really lucky with the weather and had so much sunshine and warm weather. So there was a lot of swimming in the sea, boat trips, and haning out outside. We had easy, but good food and drink. And we got to buy a lo of things very locally, like bluberries fresh from the bushes at the farm.

I got nice walks as I was walking Ickle Pickle for her nap every day and got to enjoy the scenary. Some days it was a little windy and some days it was a little warm, but it is always good to get a good walk in every day.

One of the days when the weather was not at the warmest, we went to the nearby little town of Jørpeland to do a ittle bit of shopping and have a nice lunch at Rosehagen. I got some great moules frittes and was really happy with them. I was also happy that it was warm enough to sit outside to enjoy them.

We didn’t shop much, but looked a good bit in the local shops. We obviously also took the oppurtunity to have an ice cream in the sunshine. And geneally had a very good outing before heading back to the summer-house for another dip in the sea.

All in all we had an amazing week, just like my best memories from this place growing up! The week after, when I was back at work, we got loads of rain and a storm. So the timing was good for me.
