This last week I have had quite a lot of bad luck. In short a lot of things don’t go my way. Just to mention a few things. Earlier this week I wheeled my office chair over my headphones. They are now broken. I can’t find my card where I had 5 prepaid sandwiches left.
Today I went to the store and the guy behind me in the line drops a flask of fabric softer down on the floor. The stupid thing broke and I ended up with green fabric softener all over my boots and thighs. Thank goodness I was on my way home because it was uncomfortable enough walking home wet, green and smelling strongly of fabric softener! And just to annoy me even more the guy that spilt all over me just looked at me and said, “ups, you’re ok, right?” I really wanted to say no, but I was too angry to speak.
I’m very much looking forward to summer, sunshine and better luck.
Oh boy ! What a week ! At least you had a soft ending to it π I hope this week is the best ever Masgautsen π β€
Hehe, Thank you Ralph. Your comment made me smile π
You are right – lousy week. That guy made it worse! He should have been offering to pay for new boots or at least *proper* cleaning. I hate it when people act like their mistakes like that shouldn’t bother you.
Me too it’s so annoying! I didn’t need him to buy mener boots or anything, the fabric softener did not hurt them. I just wanted him to appologise propperly!
Once a man opened his car door into my (old, cheap) car and then he just looked at me and said nothing! I said “you could apologize.” Apparently not!
Some people are so rude!
It could have been worse – it could have been bleach!
Auch, you are right that would have been much worse!
Ahhhh…sometimes it happens that way but it is never fun! I really hope you have an extra special good week ahead of you!
Thank you very much I hope I will to. Hope you have a good weekend and that the week ahead will be good for you too!
Do not say that this photo present!
No, it’s not. I took this one a few summers ago.
oh now I understand π
I hear you….kindness and consideration makes all the difference…it’s enough to remember that everyone, at any time, could be going through a rough time–but, when someone has done something (accidentally or not) to make the day harder, the least that person can do is express remorse and a genuine offer to mitigate the mistake. Thanks for sharing π
You are right!
