Last Saturday morning I got in the car and drove the 50 minutes to our summer-house. The weather was great it was really lovely and warm. A bit too warm for some. So after we got our things up from the car I just got in to my swimsuit and went for a good long swim in the North Sea. And I had to go back down to cool down a few times to keep a bit cool. We had lovely food and stayed outside till bedtime. Even if it late that evening, started to rain and we had some thundershowers.
The next day also came with a bit of rain. The temperature had dropped a little bit. But there was long periods with sunshine and it was a good day for reading and going for a good walk. As you do we enjoyed good food and good drink again. And I really enjoyed that glorious feeling on a Sunday evening when most people has to go home an I get to stay on, because I don’t have to go to work the next day.
It got gradually cooler during the day on Sunday, but it was still lovely summer temperatures. Sitting outside under a roofed bit of our veranda and listening to the rain drumming on the roof while you are enjoying a glass of wine and a good book really is something that brings back good memories of summers of childhood.
I still have a little bit left of my holiday, so I need to go enjoy. Hope you’re all doing ok.

41° celcius?! My American brain tells me that’s over 100° farenheit! Are you sure you’re in Norway?
It was “only” 34 in the shade, so we stayed there and in the sea. It is not often that warm
