Friday I was lucky enough to leave my home office at normal time so my other half and me could go for a little walk before we were going up to my mothers house to have a quiet socially distanced birthday celebration with less than 5 people. The food was good and the company nice and the birthday boy was happy.
Saturday we headed in to town and enjoyed a lunch and ran a few errands were we could socially distance. Some places had a little too many people for my liking so we skipped them. But the lunch and coffee was lovely and the places serving the food are doing so well with keeping with all the measures put in place that you feel safe and taken well care of when you go to eat. In the evening we stayed in and watched “The trial of the Chicago 7”. I must say I really enjoyed the film and found it to be quite good.
Sunday we went with my mother in to our summer-house to close it for the winter. We had not even gotten up there before I had a fall and hurt my hand. The fall must have been funnet to watch, I ended up flat on my face and very wet. Luckily nothing seems to be broken, but I have bruised it quite hard and it was very painful. So the rest of the day I was not up for doing much.
Today I woke up quite bruised, but the swelling in my hand had gone down a bit. Work was busy, so I was happy I was able to type with both hands today. This weekend we ordered our Christmas cards, that we are sending out to friends and family abroad, from a local designer and I went to pick them up today. I am very happy with them. The weather has taken a turn for the colder here, so I took advantage of the cold clear evening to go for a lovely stroll.
Hope you are doing good and that your weekend was as good as mine, minus the fall.
