I started the second day of 2021 by awarding myself another sleep in, enjoying some blog reading and writing in bed. But I did get up a bit earlier than the day before. The weather was still very nice, but it was below zero and a little icy out. We drove to Hafrsfjord, to go for a walk along the coast on this beautiful day. There was quite a few others out, but once again we had no trouble keeping our distance.
We walked around the same distance as the day before, and the path by the coast here has not been there for too long, so it was the first time I walked this route and I enjoyed it a lot. But as it was this cold I was really happy that there was no wind. On the weekends I do enjoy if I can out and get some sunshine on my face. As it is quite dark for most of the day here, in winter time I have to enjoy the sunshine when I don’t have to be at the office.
Afterwards we did some shopping, before it was time to do some laundry and the like. But there was still some time to enjoy some football. And my team Tottenham won their match 3-0. I started wachting the HBO series “his dark materials” as I have read the books a long time ago. I did enjoy the episodes I saw and I will probably enjoy the rest.
We made some nice pizza and had a lazy but enjoyable Saturday evening on the coach. All I had to do was to give the keys to my mother’s new tennant when she arrived in town.
Today I have to do a few hours in the office even if it is Sunday, but I hope that I don’t have to stay too long and I will get my walk in walking to the office and back. Hope the day will treat you all well!

Nothing beats a good walk outside on a sunny day. We have been walking almost every day as we enjoy unusually warm winter weather. Stay well and all the best in 2021. Allan

We watched His Dark Materials this weekend, too. It was fun.
