Yesterday I got more tidying done than I thought I would and so, after the take away we had up at my mother’s house we enjoyed some wine and watched TV and I decided to spend the night there. During the night there was a bit of rain and a bit of snow. So it was not too white outside when I got up.
I had a lazy morning and my mother and me watched some biathlon and some cross country skiing. As we were watching it started to snow more outside, so after much relaxing and some tidying we went for a little walk to enjoy the snow. We did not go too far as it did start to rain a bit as we walked. I am not a very big fan of snow here in the town as it normally melts and freeze and mostly just make thing a bit harder. But I must admit that there is something magical about the snow when it is lying on the ground and surfaces and makes the dark afternoons and evenings a bit brighter. I just hope that it won’t be to icy tomorrow when I go to work.
I drove home and picked up my other half, and we decided to round off the weekend by going for a nice curry. Now it’s just some TV watching and blog reading to do before bedtime.

Nice to read about your day. We’ve had a little snow too and the pavements have been treacherous with the ice so we just had an hour long walk and then came back to do some cooking.
The ice is quite bad. Good thing you kept on your feet.

Snow can offer such serenity – although once you realize just how cold it can be, and how much of a snarl it can cause it lessens the beauty a bit…cookingat home her in Los Angeles, living a #quarantinelife and dreading the next 10 days for our country…

Stopped off at the book store to pick up the new Star Wars book for my daughter, laundry, worked on a pom pom mobile for the wall, and started watching the second season of Virgin river on Netflix. Just another lazy Sunday. Have a great week. It does look so pretty where you live, we don’t get snow here in the city of Phoenix Arizona, we have to travel up north to see snow here in our state.

It hasn’t snowed yet where I am in Eastbourne; we have a microclimate that’s supposed to be the sunniest in the UK, but it does mean we rarely get snow! Where are you based?
I am in the south west of Norway in a town called Stavanger. We don’t get snow too often either, but we are not lucky enough to be the sunniest either. Sounds nice
