This year has gotten off to a good start. I has come with a lot of relaxation so far. Yesterday I only went for a short walk. The weather was not really good so going for a longer walk did not seen so enticing. Before spending around 4 hours watching football. Including seeing my team Tottenham take all three very needed points in their game against Watford.
In the evening we went up to my mother’s house and was served a wonderful meal and had a good time with her, my brother and his partner. There was good conversations and a fun Kahoot. We even got to take home leftovers so that I did not have to plan what to do for dinner today.
Today I woke up relatively early, so I got up to have a lazy breakfast, made some coffee and enjoyed answering some of the lovely comments that was left on my blog. I did some of the necessary house hold chores and then we went for a lovely walk. The weather today was better than yesterday. Less fog, no rain and the temperatures were up by quite a bit. The sun even peaked in on occasions.
After the walk I have mostly been spending the day in front of the TV watching more football and doing a bit of preparation work for some posts here on the blog. This year is not very likely to be a quiet one, so to start it with relaxation, preparations and some fresh air is really lovely. And with the added bonus of getting fed lovely food, that I did not have to prepare myself, I really can’t complain.
I am planning to get to bed quite early today so that I come well rested and prepared for the first day of work of the year tomorrow.

Good start to the year

Our year started off with a bit of a warmup from -38C to -28C and then -7C today. That will be short lived as cold and snow returns tomorrow. Have a good week and work and a Happy New Year Maja. Allan

It sounds like your 2022 is off to a terrific start! My wife and I hiked up to an overview that gives panoramic views of the entire Los Angeles area, from downtown all the way to Santa Monica and the Pacific Ocean! I will be sharing that soon, but it got us off to an exhilarating start – here’s to a happy and healthy 2022 for all of us!
