Easter in Ireland 2025: The Vanilla Pod Eatery

One of my favorit lunch spots in  Dún Laoghaire, just outside Dublin, where we usually stay when we are that side of Ireland, is just next to the hotel we stayed at. I have a few other posts about the hotel, so I won’t do another this time, but I really recomend it and you can have a look at some of the old posts if you are looking for a hotel:

Nice art on the wall

But back to the nice lunch spot. We went in on a few occations this time over and Ickle Pickle was so happy with their pancakes, that she pointed it out when asked where she wanted to go for lunch. It is called The Vanilla Pod Eatery and this is what they say about themselves on their web page:

New exciting drinks every day. This white chocolate pistachio coffee was really great

Our aim is to provide gourmet food at great prices in a relaxed, fun, family friendly atmosphere! You can enjoy wholesome cuisine made from ingredients carefully sourced from small, artisan, Irish suppliers. We are committed to fantastic food, coffee, wine and dessert treats. Our cakes and pastries are freshly made every day. We want our customers, at every visit, to have a great experience and these are the values that drive our ownership team to work in our restaurants every day.

Amazing pancakes and poached eggs and avokado on sourdough bread.

They have four locations, all of them around Dublin in Carrickmines, Blackrock, Leopardstown and Dún Laoghaire. The last one is the only one I have been to, but I have always enjoyed. Lovely food, good coffee and a very nice staff.

Nice coffee mugs

Do you have a great place for eating lunch, either at home or on travels? Please share in the comments if you have posted about it, because I would love to see it.
