The last week the weather has been amazing here in Norway, and this is turning out to be one of the best summer in a very long time. I’ve been spending much of my time after work and last sunday taking advantage of the heat and sun and gone swimming in the sea several places.

Went to Sola Beach, a nice sandy beach close to the airport and spent a lovely day swimming, sun bathing, reading and building a sandcastle.

After work on monday I decided to take a little walk to a nearby beach called Rosenli. And on tuesday I went a bit further to Godalen to cool myself down in the sea. And I certainly was not alone in thinking that this was a good idea.

On Wednesday my day called and asked me if I wanted to go on a boat trip. I was quite happy to and it was a very nice trip.

We anchored up and went swimming from the sun deck on the boat! Lovely way to spend the summer. The memories of these things are what we will be feeding of when it gets, darker and colder.

Lovely photos of your days. It is very good to have Summer memories to get you through Winter’s dark and cold. I remember that from home. Even in the South the Einters have gotten colder and longer. I don’t miss the cold, but maybe the chill of Autumn now and then. Enjoy!
Every season has it’s charm, but I must admit I’m more fond of the warmth and sunshine of summer than the cold and snow of winter. The summer memories sure are nice to have on the darkest coldest days.
