Busy but happy!

These last few week has been very busy for me. First there was a lot of rehersals and concerts with my band leading up to a competition last Saturday. We were very happy with our performance and so was the adjudicators who awarded us with a great third place!

Nice photo from Stavanger

After the competition there was no rest, because we entered a very busy week at work and I had to spend most of my time there. And this weekend has mostly gone to help my brother build a new kitchen.

This has been very busy, but at the same time I’m enjoying myself.  So I’ve been busy, but happy. I have had some time this weekend to catch up on some of your lovely posts and in my busy time I’ve missed you all. But I should have more time to hang out with you guys now!

Hope you’re all doing great and that the weekend is treating you well.

  1. It’s that time of year where we are all very busy with more things to do than time allows. I’m happy to hear you are doing so well and you have good balance in your life. Work, play, family. ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. Congratulations on your competition! Being busy is fun. For a while. It is nice to get a break from it, though, just to pursue more leisurely things.

  3. Hurray for placing with the band! That can be so exciting though, waiting for your scores! I hope that your brother and you are able to get things done!

      1. I know this is sexist but…. That’s what men are for! I make my husband do all the hauling and I do all the renewing, decorating, and arranging!

      2. I not as experienced as them with putting up the new wall and stuff. So I found the colours to be used for the painting and will be helping out with painting. I’m much better at that.

      3. I wouldn’t even know how to put up a wall! I’d not be able to do that either ๐Ÿ™‚

  4. It does seem we are happiest when we are busy, doesn’t it? Especially when doing things we love or with the people we love. โ™กMakes the quite moments all the more precious.
