The weather here has been lovely lately so I have been a little absent. It’s said to turn now so I had to enjoy it while it was there.
Sunday afternoon I was so warm I just had to cool down. So I headed to Badedammen, a place to swim close by. Having been packed earlier in the day the kids had for the most part gone home and I got to enjoy a little peace and quiet.
Brrr – rather you than me Mas. I prefer a natural hotspring to cold water. 😉
It wasn’t so cold Jack. But I do like the sea!
I prefer sailing on it to being in it. 😉
I have not been sailing much, but I enjoy being in a boat ☺
Oh, it does look lovely. We’ve been housebound due to heat. I miss the great outdoors.
It is lovely! How hot is it at yours now?
35C without taking humidity into account. 40C with, and has been for the last several days.
That is very hot. We enjoyed 25C here at the weekend and that is enough for me.
25 would be such a welcome change. Unfortunately it likely won’t get that cool for us until mid-late September.
We’ll be lucky to get 14 at that time
I entered at my own risk! It’s not Waikiki I’m afraid.
Hehe!
I think many of us have been enjoying the summer rather than blogging! Nothing like a swim to cool off and enjoy a summer day!
Sorry about the late answer, but I have taken a leave of absence.
I did notice that you had not been posting lately. I thought perhaps you had fallen into the “sluggish blogging season” as I have as well as many others, I noticed. Hope to see you back soon and that everything is Okay.💕
Ah, the joy of swimming I have just learnt of! My hip bones are sore – I had my third swimming lesson yesterday and my old bones are protesting. I think I will join you next time you go swimming since I can now actually swim for at least five meters! Ha!
Sounds very good. It’s nice to be able to swim! And it’s lovely to swim in the sea.
A cool down always feel so wonderful!
It sure does!
A little peace and quiet is priceless! Especially when cool, clear water laps around you:). If we all could do that more often, the world might be a nicer place.
You are very right!
Glad you have only taken a leave of absence. I am often accused of having taken leave of my senses.
This has turned out to be a longer leave of absence then I ever could have imagined.
