Walking away

An old stone bench

I am always enjoying a walk around where I live. But I was much better at doing this when the lock down started. Lately I have become lazy and my walks have been fewer and further between. Some of this is down to the weather having been a bit up and down lately and some are down to having been busy with other things.

Walking by a small lake

Yesterday was a beautiful day and we managed to take advantage of that and went for a good long walk after work and having done a light bit of gardening. It was an amazing day to be out and moving a bit and getting some fresh air worked wonders after a day at the home office.

A bush where people can put up small ting’s to remind us that things will be OK and to take care of each other

On my walk I saw a few bushes and trees that had been decorated with a few lovely sentiments to remind ourselves and the children that things will work out in the end, somehow. And to remind us to always be kind and show consideration towards our fellow humans. I found it to be quite lovely, and as I was looking at the ornaments I heard a little girl asking her mother if we where looking at her artwork. We asked what she had made and made sure to give her a compliment. It is always amazing to see a child’s face light up so much over the little things.

A tree in my neighborhood telling us to take care of each other

Today came with unstable weather, but I still went for a walk, even if it was a bit shorter than yesterday. But everything is better than nothing.

Hope you are all well. Remember to take care of each other and that a little kindness can go a long way.
