This weekend has been a good one for me. Friday we went for a walk and got a pizza for dinner and then did as little as possible the rest of the evening. That involved stretching out on the couch with a good book.

This piece of street art showed up one morning close to the hospital. It is by the artist Pøbel who is known for his street art and critic of society. He is also the one who made the now famous “lovers”. This piece shows our minister for health lifting up a health care worker.
Saturday I read a bit, watched a bit of the world championship cross country skiing and did a little tidying. And then we went over to a friend for rugby and beer. It was a really good time and we did not come home till midnight and that has become very rear for me the last year. But being out at a friends house enjoying a normal evening of sports was really great and we are all so trained in the social distancing that keeping 1 meter apart is not hard, even after beers. It might help that I don’t have to stay 1 meter away from my other half and that I am a person who has always enjoyed my personal space anyway. The fact that Ireland won and played well made it all the more enjoyable.

Today I had a little sleep in, then had an egg and bacon breakfast and then we went for a lovely walk on the sunshine. Then it was time for some washing and more tidying and then we took a trip in to town to go to the library and return some of the books I had read over the last while and then get a burger. After the meal we moved in to the apartment we are staying in the few day before the next showing.
How has your weekend been?
A lot of virtual get togethers (we are not allowed to have any indoor gatherings here yet and some nice walks. Then a take out gourmet meal last night while we watched out video and photos from our 2017 trip to France. Virtual travel is not the same, but it was nice to remember the good times. Have a great week. Allan
Virtual gatherings are a good substitutes when we can’t meet in person. Take out gourmet sounds very nice. Virtual traveling is all we can do at the moment and it is better to relive the memories than to have none! Hope the last bit of your weekend is good.
Raining outside though editing audio inside.
Sounds peacefull and nice! Enjoy
Sounded like a good week for you. Lovely you were able to visit friends and keeping your distance wasn’t so hard. Here in Australia we are opening up. We are still practicing social distance to keep ourselves safe. Have a good week ahead 🙂
Thank you, it was very nice. Glad to hear you are able to open up. Hope your week will be amazing
Sounds like a relaxing yet productive weekend as well…staying ahead of the chores and duties while not letting them take over your day…we are in Malibu where we have already seen pelicans, dolphins and a seal, who keeps popping up to check out the shore for a moment…gorgeous weather – a great mini staycation!
Thank you, it felt more relaxing than productive Malibu sounds lovely! Sounds like a wonderful staycation. Enjoy your time off and take care
