This weekend I have spent a lot of time relaxing, but also a lot of quality time with family. On Friday I started the evening by restocking my shelf at the store where I am trying to get rid of some of Ickle Pickle’s old stuff. I did the food shopping for the weekend and then went home to eat some candy and relax. It felt like I had been quite productive and still gotten all the relaxation I needed.

We woke up on Saturday and got a text from my mother asking if we wanted to come for a visit as Ickle Pickle’s cousin was there and it would be nice for them to hang out. And a good chance for me to catch up with them too. We went home for nap time and after we had some food. Then the weather had gotten better, so we went out to a playground nearby that we had not been to before. It was a very nice time for the whole family and afterwards we did some dessert and watched despicable me with Ickle Pickle. The rest of the evening I did the same as the evening before.

On Sunday I decided to go to a “play land” called Leo’s. I had never been there before and I was a little unsure if it would be nice for us to go there. But as we got there just as they was opening there was not too many other people there and even when it started filling up we noticed that there was loads of room for everyone. So we had a really good time and are absoulutely going back in the future. I am glad that we had to leave when it was time for a nap, so that I got home before I got too tired myself.

When we got home I had a little rest before a friend stopped by for a little visit and a coffe. We had some dinner and then a nice video chat with family in Ireland. And then I had a really early night because I was quite tired and needed the rest. So I have spent a lot of time this weekend to make sure that my reconvalessense gets the best chance that it can.

Now I feel like I am ready for a new week and the challenges it has in store. But I really hope it will be a good week.

Nice to relax and recuperate while having a bit of fun Maja. Here we enjoyed a nice spring walk on Saturday and then I “enjoyed” some nice winter shoveling on Sunday when the snow returned. Have a great week. Allan
Thank you Allan. It really is nice. Sounds like a good weekend your side too
I have had a relaxing weekend and the week ahead is no different. I can’t do much after tripping over last Wednesday and all this week work is going on inside my rented property to try and sort out the damp. Work done so far today until they start same time tomorrow. So it’s thankfully quieter sooner than expected.
I am off from blogging all this week as I announced some time ago to coincide with the work on my rented property. So although I said I would be completely away during my blogging break, to take a rest, I have popped on today.
Sorry to hear about your fall and the damp. Hope you get to relax and take care of yourself.
Thank you.
I’m glad you’re getting out and about more, Maja, and enjoying life more. Wishing you and yours a great week 🤗
Thank you for sharing.

What a great weekend! The weather turned Warner in New York so we took the subway for drinks, then walked to meet friends for dinner, and of course Sunday found us with a 5 mile walk through Central Park…peaceful and relaxing…great to hear that you are recovering bring well!
Thank you, it was really good
Sounds like yours was good too!
This weekend we found out that we were going to be grand parents. Now I am officially old. Our oldest son and his wife are having a little boy. It seems like you had a good weekend. I am just curious about who Ickle Pickle is.
Congratulations! Ickle Pickle is my 21 month old daughter 🙂
Thank you and I should have guessed. Having a 21 months old daughter is wonderful but hectic. I remember those days.
It really is both!
Glad you had some time to rest between all that action! Looks like a fun weekend 🙂
Thank you, it was!
Our snow melted but it was still cold so I stayed indoors working on a St. Patrick’s Day wreath and some sewing and cleaning. Lots of napping too. Glad you are still getting plenty of rest. So important. The body only heals when it’s asleep. Glad you did find time to have family fun. Restorative.
Sounds great Marlene. I had a great weekend
Cool

A great weekend!
Here in Brisbane, we were readying everything for cyclone Alfred. Luckily, we didn’t sustain damages, just yard clean-up.
Glad to hear you are ok.
