I had a very good day yesterday. I started by waking up before my alarm and had a good breakfast. I enjoyed a cup of coffee with a podcast and a few blog posts before going out in the lovely sunshine for a walk. I stopped to enjoy a waffle and a cup of coffee in the sunshine and just watched the world go by.
When I came home I put on some more suntan lotion and had a good rest in the lovely sunshine. In the afternoon we went up to my mother to help her out with a few things and then we enjoyed some Thai food take away out in the garden. I picked some of her flowers and brought them over to my grandpa, who lives across the street. It is always lovely to go for a visit to him and he is always happy to see me and grateful for my time. It is always enjoyable to drop in and have a chat with him.
After the visit I went for one last walk to round off the evening and went home to sort out a few things that needed sorting at home. Then I went early to bed and got a good night sleep and I woke up feeling well rested and ready for the new week today.
Hope this week will treat us all well.

Sounds like a perfect day. Ours was busy too, but consisted of driving across town, cleaning the mother-in-law’s house and working on her garden (she is in her 80’s), then coming home for lunch and working in our garden. At least the weather was nice.
