Easter plans

We are heading for Easter and spring is really here. I have been able to be a little more social lately, but still taking things slow. I was out for a drink with a friend last weekend, she also has small children so it was early home to bed. But a really nice catch up. We also spent a lot of time enjoying the nice weather.

Out with a friend for drinks

This week I have had a really good week. There was an Easter breakfast at kindergarden where all the parents were invited to eat and enjoy with the littl ones. It was really nice to catch up with the other parents and kids for more than drop off and pick up. And to see a little more of how the kids spend their days there. We got to join in in their morning singing and see the artwork they had made to decorate for Easter. My band sent me a lovely breakfast box to say they missed me and are looking forward to me comming back, hopefully soon. I am looking forward to go back and the food we got was also great, but a little much for breakfast, so it lasted for a few meals. I also won an easter egg at a competition at work, it is always nice to win something you have entered. And the price does not need to be big to get a good feeling.

I have also started distributing some of the eggs to friends and family and I have had the chance to get most of them ready. I love preparing little treats for my cousins kids, my mother, and Ickle Pickles cousins. And aslo for the other kids that we will be spending time with over easter. And seeing their little faces light up is always so lovely.

Amazing waking up to breakfast at the door!

Today we are getting visitors from Bergen that are going to stay with us until Monday and I am very much looking forward to it. It is a friend of mine from University and her two lovely daughters. You get to spend a lot more time with people when they are staying with you than if they are staying somewhere else and you are meeting up. Especially when there are kids that needs to go to bed early. But now we will all get a lot of time to spend together and it will be realy great.

Won an Easter egg at work, yay me!

After going to work on Monday and Tuesday (and going for a lovely easter lamb dinner at my mother’s house on Monday), we are going for a 10 day trip to visit freiends and family in Ireland, we have also scheduled in some time to relax so that we won’t come back all wrecked. I am really looking forward to going and meeting up with everyone and to enjoy a nice Holiday in lovely Ireland.

How are you spending Easter? What plans do you have?

  1. Glad you’re feeling better. Your Easter egg is beautiful, I was picturing a regular egg with 2-3 different dye colors 😂 Have a great trip, safe travels! 😎
